\"BETH ELPIA\" - LA MAISON DE L'ESPOIR<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

MGF signifie \"mutilation g\u00e9nitale f\u00e9minine\", c'est-\u00e0-dire mutilation g\u00e9nitale f\u00e9minine. Chaque ann\u00e9e, environ 3 millions de filles sont victimes de ce terrible rituel. Le projet \"Beth Elpia\", la maison de l'espoir, fait une diff\u00e9rence significative parmi les Sarha, une ethnie du Tchad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus de 80% de la population f\u00e9minine y souffrent de cette coutume d\u00e9gradante, qui a pu s'\u00e9tablir comme partie int\u00e9grante de la culture, principalement en raison d'un manque d'information. La pression sociale \u00e9lev\u00e9e fait qu'il est incroyablement difficile pour les personnes concern\u00e9es de s'opposer \u00e0 la tradition, la fuite restant souvent la seule solution. Le Foyer Beth Elpia offre aux filles qui fuient les mutilations g\u00e9nitales un foyer s\u00fbr et leur permet d'envisager un avenir positif. Actuellement, le Foyer accueille plus de 70 filles \u00e2g\u00e9es de 9 \u00e0 17 ans. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une formation scolaire ou professionnelle, les filles sont accompagn\u00e9es sur le chemin de leur autonomie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, les jeunes femmes de \"Beth Elpia\" n'avaient qu'une seule possibilit\u00e9 de formation, \u00e0 savoir l'atelier de couture. C'est avec plaisir que nous avons pu constater les comp\u00e9tences que chaque jeune fille y a acquises. Gr\u00e2ce aux ordinateurs portables qui leur ont \u00e9t\u00e9 offerts, elles peuvent d\u00e9sormais suivre des cours d'informatique, ce qui repr\u00e9sente un \u00e9norme avantage pour la suite de leur carri\u00e8re professionnelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certaines de ces jeunes femmes ont commenc\u00e9 une formation d'h\u00f4tellerie. L\u00e0 aussi, les connaissances acquises gr\u00e2ce aux cours d'informatique leur seront utiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
